For streaming or playback via USB, the HD-Extender connects to the HDMI port of a computer or digital home cinema receiver. For playback via satellite, the HD-Extender connects a multi-tap receiver or receiver and satellite antenna. For analog, HDMI, and analog audio applications, the Extender connects a computer to a multi-tap receiver or receiver and an analog audio cable. With Auto Select, the HD-Extender automatically determines the best connection type and setting for the input being connected. A second input for receiving HDMI or analog audio signals can be manually configured for any resolution and frame rate.
With APC Backup, the Extender performs a snapshot backup of the input and the system settings every time the power is turned off or after a system reset. Using an encoded profile transfer (e.g., N6, N7, or X1) on a regular basis can reduce the backup time to minutes.
For more information on the built-in HDBaseT technology, please refer to the manufacturer applications or the documentation for the HDBaseT Extender. For more information on Operating the HD BaseT Extender, please refer to the manufacturer application or the user’s guides included with the product.
