Hi, I need a little help. I've installed the Windows 7 64 bit on a new hard drive, and I am trying to install a new copy of my copy of Windows 7 64 bit. The only problem is the copy of Windows that I have installed on the old hard drive is 32 bit, and if I try to install it on the new hard drive, I get an error saying that I have to use a Windows 7 32 bit installation CD and that I have to use the Windows 8.1 Recovery disk. All I need is a way to load the Windows 7 64 bit that is installed on my old hard drive on my new hard drive.
Where can I get a bootable Windows 7 Professional ISO free from the internet. I have the CD but don't know how to get the Product Key so I can activate it. I don't have a DVD burner or a DVD drive, and the only CD-RW drive in the house is broken. I have a friend who has a mac who can burn the ISO, but I want to do it myself without using a Mac.
I had a problem with my computer. I had to format and reinstall windows. After the format, I used Dell's recovery disk and reinstalled windows. Then I had to set up the same user account. After that, I had to restore the files and settings from a USB drive I had on hand. Then, I had to re-install the drivers.
i have windows 7 64bit, and i want to upgrade my RAM from 4 to 8, so i want to put my windows 7 64bit on my new RAM, so if i connect my old one of RAM i cant use my computer, i want to format my old RAM and install the new windows 7 64bit on my new RAM, my question is can i install windows 7 64bit on my new RAM? and if i can, then is it correct?
Hi, my laptop was working fine, then suddenly it loses its windows 7 logo. It's not able to boot into windows. I tried the restore option but that doesn't work. Please help me with a solution as soon as possible.Thanks.
I have Windows 7 Home Premium installed, but I forget my product key. It's not on the key cover, either, and when I try to register a new product key, I get the message that my computer is not eligible for the product. What should I do?
No. that's a Microsoft OEM. You must purchase a license. Get your laptop back and buy a license before you reinstall. Microsoft just released the latest version of Windows 7.If you want the latest, you should buy the Pro version rather than Home. Otherwise you will always be behind. Your laptop came with a product key on the bottom of the CD. That key should be sent to you when you request a new OEM key. You must have it before you can reinstall.
